Granite
Granite Hacarmel Investments LTD was established in 1981 and became public in 1992, the company's shares are traded on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange (TASE).
Granite is one of Israel's leading holding companies. In 2006, Canit Hashalom Investments LTD, from the Azrieli group, purchased a majority share in Granite and became a holder of controlling interest in the company.
As for today Canit holds 60% of Granite's shares, 15% are held by Mr. Yeshayahu Landau, the remaining 25% are held by the public.
Granite and its subsidiaries are active in the energy, water & environmental solutions, infrastructure, paint, and chemical fields. In addition to its activity in Israel, Granite also participates in the international market, especially in the environmental, energy and paint fields.
Granite is the owner and holder of controlling interest in leading Israeli companies such as: Sonol (100%), Tambour (about 85%), Supergas (100%) and GES (100%), which are all strong brands in the Israeli market and serve all sectors, be it the private, coomercial and institutional, in both retail and wholesale channels.
