Retrofits
GES Desalination Business Unit offers retrofits and upgrades for existing desalination plants. During 2009 GES retrofitted and upgraded the Via Maris Desalination Plant in addition to enlarging the plant. The retrofit included the integration of Energy Recovery devices by ERI and enlargement of existing piping.
As a part of its continued activity, GES operates and maintains water and waste water facilities in addition to upgrading existing facilities on a regular basis, and making sure that the facilities continue to operate in the most cost- effective way.
