Operation & Maintenance (O&M)
GES has vast experience in operation and maintenance of desalination facilities.
GES operates dozens of desalination facilities. In order to reach maximum efficiency in the O&M GES developed special operating methods. This method consists of three elements: "private" technicians, on-line monitoring and off-line monitoring. Each site GES operates has a designated technician/engineer that is familiar with the history of the facility and is in constant connection with the client. GES is constantly monitoring the facility production figures in order to assure product and process quality. GES generally uses two methods for monitoring: (a) technician/engineer site visits to the location and (b) remote computerized monitoring . When off-line monitoring is used, the technicians on site sample the water and deliver results for routine laboratory tests. For On-line monitoring, each facility is connected to our main grid at GES headquarters, where the site is constantly being monitored. Remote controlling allows early and immediate discovery of system glitches. The system enables the system parameters analysis and an automatic alarm system to alert the technicians in the control to instant action.
Combing the above-mentioned methods enables GES to attend to problems immediately which allows for preventative damage control and efficient, timely solutions.
